With over 20 years previous experience in the transport industry Drivers 4 U was established by Tris Matthews and his wife Debbie in 2006. The couple believe the success they have seen with their business is due entirely to the continual hard work and professionalism from all members of staff and the commitment everyone gives to the relationships that Drivers 4U endeavour to build and maintain with their customers.
Strong team working and high levels of energy coupled with drive and enthusiasm are they feel the essential values of their successful business.
Drivers 4U provide experienced, reliable and quality LGV drivers to all sectors of the transport and logistical sector. All categories of drivers up to and including LGV Class 1(C+E) are supplied. Key to this is an exhaustive recruitment process, which ensures that only the best calibre candidates are recruited.
Certificates of competence, valid licences and training certificates are always available for scrutiny. Customers can count on being provided with skilled, dependable and professional staff. In fact it is not unusual for a member of the management team to accompany new employees on their first day.
Drink distribution, home delivery, construction, logistics, environmental and recycling industries all form part of an extensive customer base. Operating from their Sussex base the business has now expanded to cover clients in Kent, London, Surrey, Hampshire and the South West of the UK.
Drivers4U proudly supports Parkinsons UK and this April will be taking part in a fundraising mission!
Drivers4U will be entering a 1995 jaguar into the Benidorm Bangers Fundraising rally.
We will be leaving Brands Hatch on the morning of the 23rd April 2019 alongside 50+ car all doing their bit to raise as much money as possible for their chosen charities.
For 4 days straight, each car will cover over 380 miles per day.
All cars taking part in the rally must have a valued worth of less than £400.
Tris Matthews, the company owner of Drivers 4U was diagnosed with Parkinson disease last year and has set himself a goal of raising £12000 just from this rally itself and no doubt it won’t stop there.
As stock car racing has been a major part of my life, we have decided to dress up an old 1995 Daimler as a Speedworth Pace Car- which will be returned back to Arlington Stadium to be raced for its final time.
Every hour, 2 people in the uk are told they have parkinson’s disease, an estimated 145,000 people in 2018 alone.
That works out to be 1 in every 350 adults”.
A huge thank you to all involved and everyone who has support us with this fundraising cause.
